To make the filling out of this form and generating the HTML for it a bit easier, [info]reddywhp has played around with some PHP. Go to http://reddywhip.org/lj/foods/ and fill it out there. After filling it out, you will be given the code to copy and paste into your blog.

I have cast true resurrection on the gamers forum. It was backed up just before its final death rattle, and it has been enshrined in a new, more secure, temporary vessel.

ultimately I hope it will go to its own home, but in the interim: huzzah to the 'Coven.

The Meme (from [info]threnneko)

1. Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.

2. Go to http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.

3. Go to http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4. Create your album cover and post it.

I cheated slightly because the whole quote was too cool.

[info]threnneko asked me the following:

I picked my WoW Character's name because I wanted something more interesting than my usual internet monicker for him. It's related to a black mage I had in FFXI who was called after the Irish for Demon. I decided that I liked that theme, but that I wanted something more recognisable. Hexenhammer is the German name for the Hammer of Witchcraft, so there's a post-modern-ish punchline to the choice.

2. What's your favourite videogame you've ever played?
I'd have to say, after much deliberation, Master of Orion II. WoW is certainly the game I have played the most, and I had tremendous fun with Desert Combat, Counter strike and the various Battlefield games; MOOII is the game that I would most like to see updated and improved.

3. Who would be your favourite author?
Extremely tough question. My scattershot reading habits mean that I tend to like books rather than authors as such. I guess I like Phillip K. Dick a lot, but I'm going to go for George Orwell on the basis of Homage to Catalonia and 1984.

4. What would be your ideal job?
I'd like to work at something that suits my personality. I like technology a lot, and I'm pretty good with languages, so some sort of tech consultancy might be fun. I've also got a real hankering to found a super-successful company selling tube grease for the internets or something :) The entrepreneurial thing sounds like it could be really interesting.

5. What countries have you visited? Where would you like to visit?
(The stupendously terrible LJ editor ate this entry - We hates it, revenge soon)
I've been all over France and Germany, and Inter-railed a lot of the intervening bits. Inter-railing is definitely the best way to get around and to see places and enjoy them. I have also been to America  - NY, LA, SF and Georgia. I've been through Chicago about half a dozen times, but only in the airport :S

I'd like to go to Japan & Australia.

Edit: I forgot to add the memetic element: This is the drill: leave a comment and I will ask you five questions, you answer them in your journal and make the same offer to your friends.

Mercilessly removed from the gentle hands of [info]kindermord...

Tell me about a story I haven't written, and I'll give you one short part from that story.

The Google Personal Pony.

For Fluff, who, in her alter-ego once said:
"The fifth province is not anywhere here or there, north or south, east or west. It is a place within each of us. It is that place that is open to the other, that swinging door which allows us to venture out and others to venture in.”

You know the score:

1) Tell you why I friended you.
2) Associate you with a song/movie.
3) Tell a random fact about you.
4) Tell a first memory about you.
5) Associate you with an animal/fruit.
6) Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
7) Show you my favourite user pic of yours.
8) As a penalty, you MUST spead this disease in your LJ.
